Great example of a “low mileage” J105.
This boat has been raced lightly and day sailed.
The result is a boat in excellent condition.
The non-skid deck is clean and still aggressive.
The interior is in great condition and looks almost new.
There are no offending smells.
Everything works and in many cases has been upgraded.
The vessel is practically showroom clean.
You’d feel proud to invite your friends or your crew on your boat, above or below.
The boat underwent an extensive refit in 2021:
All new rod rigging (KKMI)
New aluminum diesel tank (this is a common problem with J105’s, now it has been solved for you) with electronic sender and fuel gauge
Rebedded chainplates
Rebuilt hydraulic backstay adjuster (KKMI)
Rebuilt Harken furler
All new Raymarine speed, depth, wind instruments
Raymarine EV-100 tiller pilot
Replaced virtually all the hoses in the entire boat—including the head hoses and fuel hoses.
Result is that the boat has no smells (except of new rubber)
New vhf radio and repeater at the helm
New Bluetooth stereo
Refurbished cushions with BRAND NEW foam
Completely dry decks and hull—you will have no problems passing any survey.
Mainsails:
BRAND NEW Mainsail 2022
Dacron Main
Jibs:
Roller furling Technora Jib
Roller furling Cruising Dacron jib
Spinnakers:
BRAND NEW 89m2 runner (1.12 oz)

Daysailing / Cruising Gear:
Dodger was refurbished in 2021 with new zippers and clear glass; in very good condition.
Teak table for the cabin or also the cockpit.
Full cockpit cushions that snap into place.
Emergency rudder extension
This boat is sailed regularly.
Lines are consistently replaced and/or upgraded.
Everything works.
The engine has been carefully maintained with regular oil changes and adjustments.
The bottom is regularly cleaned by divers.
The boat is turn-key: bring a crew and it could race tomorrow, or we could sail around the bay, or overnight at Angel Island.
Many people want to join the J105 class or want an easily sailed, fast boat with an asymmetric spinnaker that can be shorthanded.
But many J105’s have been raced hard and it shows.
This one has not.
You can now start racing it hard as a one-design but don’t need to compromise on the condition.
If you want to day sail or cruise around you can feel proud to invite friends or family on the boat.
